Lordy lord I am actually updating!

Hey people! Yup it has been forever and a day since I have been blogging and even making any cards. I was so stoked to get messages from ya'll making sure I was ok, you guys are very sweet! I got caught up in exams, and then somewhere along the way forgot how much I actually love making cards. Today's foray into the craft room was a little scary, so I played it super simple :)

The past couple months have flown by, have been doing a lil DIY with hubby, a little baking, a little studying, and not too much else! Am looking forward to catching up on what everyone has been up to!

Happy Birthday Day 5

A no layer lazy card for ya'll today, I was seriously itching to put just a lil bit of ribbon on but I restrained myself. I am scraping the bottom of the barrel trying to find birthday stuff in my stash! But I think this lil granny is cute. Me in 30-40 years people! (Dear god hopefully not sooner...I swear my fore-head wrinkes get bigger every day...)

Happy Birthday Day 4

For Happy Birthday cards day 4, I forced myself to not use any DP, and to try and make a masculine card. Always tricky tricky for myself to do, I think purely for the fact that when I buy card stuff, I am always attracted to the gorgeous pinks, glitters etc. I used the background stamp from SU's Dad's Day (I think that is what its called) which I havent touched since last fathers day! And the corrugated card is just some packaging from something I ordered online :)

Another simple card using some scrap AC paper, thickers etc. These Heidi Grace (By Fiskars) pins have been in my stash for-eva, but since they matched the thickers perfectly I had to chuck 'em in there :)

Isnt that snail so sweet! Today's happy birthday card features some (I think) K&Co 3D stickers, I also have the paper range for these too, but since I had this card in mind for a girl I wanted to keep the colors somewhat neutral. Also my fall-to Kraft paper, scallop edge punch and some Cristina Re paper. Super Simple!

Happy Birthday Day 1

So I am always at a bit of a shortage when it comes to birthday cards, and so that is my goal for the week, nothing but birthday cards! I actually wanted to use some sweet grapefruit puffy thickers for this card but it didn't quite work out :( So sort of slapped on the stamping at the bottom and the thin strip of kiwi and gave up!

Wells I'm off to finally get out of my pajamas lol, hubs was back to work today so Ella and I have spent the morning blobbed out watching movies- Kate and Leopold, and Mermaids! Love it :) We are checking out "housey" type stuff today at the hardware store, fun! (No actually, I love looking around for lil DIY stuff that we can do for the house! One of my many quirks :))
